Green Point has several heritage-listed sites, most notably the Green Point Foreshore and Structures. The Kincumber shopping centre serves the suburb, with a Coles supermarket, butcher, grocer and other stores, and various restaurants. Nearby, Erina has an Aldi supermarket. History
Green Point was originally part of a 640-acre land grant purchased in October 1881 by Carl Ludwig Sahl and John Nobbs. The land was subdivided as the Green Point Estate, with a waterfront section (Lot 1) in the southwest corner of the original grant, amounting to 3 acres, six roods and 1/2 perch. The Green Point Foreshore and Structures, a heritage-listed conservation site including the jetty, boatshed, well and associated foreshore land of Mulholland's Farm, was part of the original 1881 land grant.
